A prospective employer doesn’t know who you are and can’t tell you when you’re being “fake”. I’ve been called “Fake” for doing my best, frankly, while others from whom that sort of behaviour is expected aren’t challenged on the point of “authenticity”.

The stereotype that white people always carry ranch dressing around with them is not cool anymore.

The reason is because “White” bears no negative connotation while “black” does. But “racist” is entirely negative. It’s literally the only objectively negative thing you can call someone white who isn’t a paedophile.

That may in fact be all they care about. This is a very aggressive segment, so if your crossover can’t carry your crap and your kids with frugality and safety, it isn’t even worth considering. Fun and style don’t even seem to enter into it.
