If you’re in a safe state vote Green. If in a swing state that’s your choice.

Henry Ford.

Except IRL, she’d have been fine with it so that wouldn’t have been needed.

That’s because the consensus of current American politics in both parties is pretty neoliberal. Look at post-Cold War political history if you don’t believe me.

Yeah, that’s what I didn’t buy. I understand it didn’t resolve everything perfectly, but the darkest hour ending because of a magical white woman (who was a rabid fascist IRL) being listened to by white guys in the 40's didn’t sit with me.

Good episode, although more entertaining than rest of show. Plot also is a bit fast and loose with historical context of reality. Wheeler was a critic of martial law in Montana, where he had started his political career. Meanwhile, Anne Morrow Lindbergh was even more rabidly fascist than Charles, calling Hitler, “a

While this woman is undoubtedly a kook, I love how the people who attacked Bernie for his heart attack, going as far as to make a joke out of it, have no problem with a guy who will be serving until a month before his 83rd birthday if he gets another Congressional term and who has Stage 4 cancer running for reelection.

I mean, they literally stole the same revelation centered around a character played by the same actor. It also resolved with a performance. Only difference was that Be Kind Rewind was fun to watch for rest of screentime while LBMISF was mostly Manchester By the Sea moping. It’s your opinion but boy, am I glad it

One reason I’m so glad we had such a good movie year was so Last Black Man in San Francisco, which blatantly ripped off this movie but made it pretentious, sad and boring wasn’t able to get an Oscar nomination. Watching that movie was painful, polar opposite of watching BKR.

This reminds me of another candidate I just found out about. I like to periodically check in on the elections coming up around the country. Well when I looked into the Virginia Gubernatorial Election next year, I was shocked to find two of the three declared Democratic candidates, the only other being an unknown

To put it another way, the point of getting on public transport is to eventually get to a particular location.

I know you think you’re really clever, but here is where your analogy falls apart.

Unfortunately, presidential elections require you to actually win the most votes in each state, not whatever a “State Delegate Equivalent” is.

Obama literally won Indiana just two years before Buttigieg lost it by 25 points. Georgia hasn’t gone for a Democratic presidential candidate in over 25 years.

Depends on your standards of “Experience”. She’s been in some form of public office for longer than those two, but being the head of the executive branch of a city or in Congress is somewhat more relevant for the job of the presidency.

“Warren would be single best VP candidate”

She can’t run for Senate, filing deadlines have already passed. And it’s worth noting she has held public office for longer than either of those guys. Over 14.5 years as a deputy city attorney and state representative vs. 13.5 of being a city councilman and Congressman for Beto and 8 years of being mayor for Buttigieg.

Probably the best choice at this point. Only thing that might keep Biden from doing this is that he might feel he already has the South locked down. If he picks her, bet on that ticket doing a NC/Florida predominant if not NC/Florida exclusive campaign.

Abrams at this point is pretty much made to be a VP candidate.

But see, “Blue No Matter Who” types are all about loyalty to the Party. They would’ve been happy to support this guy if he had the same policies and actions but endorsed Biden. These types act like the people out of the book 1984..
