Same. I really don't understand, politics aside, how someone could contradict themselves SO MUCH by being against abortion because it's 'killing a baby' but be for war/torture/death penalty. It's one of the basic concepts with this battle that I still can't grasp.

You lose those rights when you are on probation, as probation is an alternative to being incarcerated. Just like a judge can order her not to drink even though she is over 21, avoiding police contact can be a condition of her probation as well. Basically, being found guilty of a crime strips you of your rights.
