I have a small request, Mr. Steve Jobs, among all the high-tech wizardry: A few default ringstones that can be used in a business context (instead of dogs, ducks and robots). Also, a vibrate-then-ring option. These are all MINOR things to implement in your extraordinary device yet otherwise impair usability.

@veronykah: It was a while back, and it wasn't well thought out. They kept certain things as TimesSelect but most news was free. Also, print subscribers got the Select stuff included. Net effect is there was little incentinve to pay for the extras. Bizarrely, they put their opinion columnists behind the paywall.

@Marand: WSJ is worth it. Best paper in the country. I gladly pay for the content. How are writers and reporters supposed to earn a living??
