I find Kira tremendously unsettling, she's got a Children of the Corn vibe to her. I don't know if that's intentional or not, but I think it works for the show.

I was responding to the idea that Jack would condone Will's actions based on a self-defense argument. A moral argument, not a legal one.

This was definitely better than the courtroom episode and that one got a B+.

But the staff clearly receives screeners way ahead of the air-date because they post literally minutes after the show has aired, sometimes even before the broadcast has concluded.

lol whut.

It's not paid placement, at least I don't think so. The site does these interviews because it attracts readers and they are in the writing-about-TV business. Given that the Hannibal reviews have great readership on the site, it makes sense as a business decision, maybe? Also, show walkthroughs are not done exclusively

Well in this case it refers to dialogue that no one actually says naturally, used to convey backstory information to the audience. But these set of interviews are the first time I've heard the phrase used in that context. Usually it just means fucking.

That still wouldn't hold up in court given that he's not an officer of the law in any capacity. The point is that he's been morally compromised, we don't need to do pirouettes to try to justify his actions.

"You want a toe? I can get you a toe, believe me. There are ways." - Hannibal Lecter

This show lives over the line. A subdued Mason would have been disappointing.

And now I want Michael Cerveris in literally any capacity on this show. How about as Chilton's temporary replacement while that poor SOB recovers from his injuries?

You guys are my people. I've never met another person who has read the Necroscope novels.

They did keep referring to Chilton in both present and past tense. So it was confusing. But Fuller has basically dispelled the idea that Chilton's dead so I don't know why Molly thinks that. Maybe she got the screeners way ahead of time and this write-up was done pre-Fuller interviews.

I'd rather they use it now just in case we don't get to Red Dragon. This also has the added benefit of having the writers reinvent some of those iconic Red Dragon moments for the show. We already have two more or less straightforward adaptations of that book so deviation from the details would be encouraged.

Is she funny or something?

Furry lapels seem to be in season.

I forget, does Hannibal know that Will and Margot have been seeing each other outside of his office?

It's not outright Hannibal's but the suggestions are there. In their therapy session when he brings up the legacy issue Margot says something along the lines of: "I don't get a legacy" to which Hannibal responds: "Unless you make one." He's planting the seeds of an idea in Margot's head, but the method/person is

Yeah. But then he tore him to pieces and displayed him in a museum with the help of Hannibal. I doubt that will stand up to a self-defense argument.
