He was in 2-3 episodes post memory-wipe so the scale still leans towards terrible.

Well that explains a lot.

Well at least now he's a decent human being.

Counterpoint: he was terrible. The best thing Angel ever did was wipe his memory and give him to another family.

Yep. Real name Kon-El, aka Connor Kent.

I wasn't a big Tara fan and that death is still one of Whedon's most shocking. My ranking of the Whedonverse deaths from most to least devastating are as follows (just because):

Channel 52: Bastion of journalistic integrity.

I also find Laurel's attraction to Oliver pre-island to be pretty shallow. They had nothing in common back then.

The people who did the chemistry test between Amell and Cassidy need to be fired.

Are all bratty kids named Connor? I'm getting Angel flashbacks and they are not good.

Amanda Waller and Lyla (Mrs. Diggle) are both on the list.

Agree about Shado's ghost appearances dragging her down on my rankings as well. I was so relived they didn't show her in the final scene.

Narrative-wise the Mirakuru works as an explanation for Slade's motivations, it still didn't quite work on the emotional level.

Sara/Felicity would have been a tough one. If I had to choose I would send Sara packing. Felicity remains #1 in my heart.

I don't think the narrative seeds have been planted for that to happen. But then again, Slade's all-consuming love for Shado wasn't well set up and the payoff has been amazing.

I'm telling myself that they are going to subvert expectations and not kill her. That said, I don't think she's essential to the show and would definitely come back even if she died. Although I would prefer to have Caity Lotz come back next season at least in the flashbacks.

He was trying to do angry-face so hard that a couple of time his eyes almost crossed and I started laughing. That boy sure is pretty but his acting skills need some Mirakuru of their own.

If the showrunners have any awareness of the fan reaction to Sara/Laurel at all, they know to steer clear of that method to get rid of Sara. This moment had to be between two people we and Oliver care about.

I want to like Paul Blackthorne but half the time I can't understand what he's saying and find myself staring at his lips instead.

I was caught off guard by how affected I was by Moira's death. Just earlier in the episode I was making fun of her for thinking she should be mayor of Starling City after trying to kill half of them just a few months before. After the episode ended I actually felt bad about that.
