The Man I Love by Zebedy Colt. I always use Tunefind to find any songs I don't initially recognize. It's great.

Sometimes an entertaining side character can become a real burden to the show. For example, Shoshanna's extended role in Girls seemed like a great idea at first until she became an annoying joke machine that highlighted the limited acting abilities of Zosia Mamet. Not that it couldn't work, but I'm wary.

I have a thing for well-define pecks, they have led me astray too many times. But that makes me sound so shallow that I don't even know how I feel about it.

I definitely know a lot more Agustins than I know Patricks and I don't mean the whole artsy-thing (I studied civil engineering so I hardly ever cross paths with people who make sculptures out of used chairs), but the fact that he's really self-destructive and oh so unaware of it.

The great thing about this scene is that the foundation for it was laid down 2 episodes ago in the conversation between Patrick and Richie at a much happier time, which makes the circumstances of this conversation a lot more devastating.

I also have a thing for Adam's apples. Mainly because mine is not nearly as protruding or well-defined as I'd like it to be.

Also, Patrick's rejection of Kevin's drunken advances was my favorite character moment for Patrick so far this season.

I think they handled Augustin's crash and burn well. And the reason I think a lot of the commenters, including myself, have had such a bad reaction to Augustin is two-fold: 1. This show is mainly about Patrick, which means we get to spend very little time with supporting players and 2. Augustin is in such a

Yes. I agree that the connection between Kevin and Patrick is much more superficial, as connections based sorely on shared experiences tend to be. At the same time, part of the reason that connection has remained superficial is because Patrick has kept Kevin at arm's length since he decided in Looking for 220/Hour

I've gotten a ticket for that. So I very much identified with Patrick's inner rage at that moment.

Marry: Patrick (what can I say, I have a thing for lost causes. Also Patrick's plump little butt), Richie (D'oh, he even looks great without that shaggy-dog facial hair).
Fuck: Kevin. (I'm not in a relationship so I don't have any basis to stop his drunken advances).

I know what you mean. It really seems that often times Patrick is much more comfortable around Kevin than he is around Richie. This I attribute to the fact that they have a much more similar background (i.e. educationally, professionally, socially), while Patrick and Richie come from such different backgrounds that

This is the most excited I've been about a Girls episode in over a year. The adults were excellent. It also had that great short story quality that Todd often talks about that is usually present in the best episodes of this show.

I'm only 10 minutes in and this is already the best episode of the season. I fucking love Deirdre Lovejoy.

You are right, I completely forgot that Patrick didn't give it up quite yet.

No Richie's the Rachel. It's cannon. We all know Rachel was the top to Ross' bottom.

"Is she making a frittata?"

Don't worry I was confused too. But it was all in the context clues. Richie mentions that Patrick shouldn't worry since he had already taken a shower. Also, he does lift up his legs a bit more right before the rimming, but I only caught it the second time through the episode.

I'm going back on Tuesday after a quick sojourn in Florida, so this episode couldn't have come at a better time. Now where's my Richie dammit?

Brandon, this was a really insightful review of what is possibly my favorite episode of television this year. It's really nice to have someone who can really relate to the material tackled in this show. And I don't mean just from the universal experience of being in the beginning stages of a relationship, but from the
