I’m trying to understand how one uses they/their/them pronouns in Spanish or Catalan? Inanimates and plurals are gendered, and unlike English or (especially) German, there is no liguistic neutral gender.

Yes but this is a mob mentality trying to get a show others may like cancelled because they don’t like it.  I don’t have a dog in this hunt since this isn’t my type of programming but if the show is bad, it will get cancelled on its own for not bringing in viewers.
