Wow I had no idea. I actually have a t shirt of the original Boy album cover, although I got it in a consignment shop in Cape Town. That's frustrating... I feel like that's a perfectly innocent photo unless you're trying to read something into it.

He’s still around but been doing less b/c he has a show coming on HBO.

It’s purposefully very reminiscent of their first two album covers - both feature a shirtless child and many of the songs have themes about corrupted/loss of innocence. So when I saw the cover + album name I assumed that they were going for that same theme - plus then I read an article talking about the cover so then

Also I still like U2. I know they're lame, I know they're giant jerk faces for the iTunes mess, I know Bono is a douche. But I like those lame douchey jerkfaces.

what level of paranoid obsession do you have to reach to see a picture of a parent hugging his kid and scream about gay propaganda.

What am I not getting?

‘saying tips are what make waiting tables a “good,” “lucrative” job.’

I mean, with a name like Randy Boehning, I’d almost be disappointed if he didn’t turn out to be an anti-gay republican state rep caught up in a gay sex scandal. Can't let a name like that go to waste.

My first reaction was *scroll* but then I remembered virgin galactic and yeah I’d go bi to go to space

I despise having to wear pantyhose, tights are better since they’re thicker but the texture of pantyhose is just blergh and the sound of hose rubbing together when I’m walking is awfullll

I always wear underwear under them but I wear panties with everything, even tights/hose. But you could easily go without if you didn’t want to & be comfy.

I don’t wear shapewear to get feminist inspiration or comfort or whatever, I wear shapewear to fit smoothly into tight dresses... this just seems obnoxious.

Very proud of Bruce. I’m struggling to think of someone who has been so well known for so long coming out as trans - this is definitely a big moment. Glad they felt courageous enough to do this interview.

Jezebel is about the only place on the internet I read the comments.

Aww that’s awesome :) I love U2, and saw them on their 360 tour. But, amazingly, they so happened to be staying at a hotel that was literally next to my dorm in undergrad. So walking back from CVS, see a huge crowd, ask what’s going on, apparently people are waiting for U2. I’m going to their concert that night, text

Saw Muse at a festival once, so that of course means less enthusiastic/knowledgeable crowd than at a show of their own. But I waited 2 hours so I could be real close & they were headlining so at least in my area people were into them. Except for one guy, who, at the epic 4:13 guitar solo of the ages in Knights of

Eugh that sounds shitty and scary. I hate really packed in concerts because huge crowds feed my anxiety, but normally can handle it. That situation sounds terrible though. I can’t believe they did that.

You are a hero.

Bloc Party on some exquisite-quality ecstasy, on the rail so I could see everything. I’d adored them since I was in high school, but any shows around my area they played at were 18+ or 21+, and they didn’t play in the U.S. all that often to begin with since they’re from England. Then of course, after I turn 18 they
