Weird. I’m white and I’m not feeling like I’m being pushed away. It’s all about trying to overcome white fragility, and that takes work. Seriously, there are still times I want to say “Not all white people!” but if you do the work and the self-refection, those times get fewer and further between.

I’ve always felt bad for Lena Dunham. She’s so unfortunate looking and her styling choices make that even worse. I get why her average white female fans extol her soooo much. They look at her and are assured that their averageness will somehow make them succeed in any profession.

I love Kiera Knightly but “clomping everywhere and leading with her jaw” was a hilarious depiction of her.

That is what gets me. Thanks to the internet, I keep seeing stories about amazing women all around the world who did things. Big, bold, adventurous, piss of entire continents of men things.

This is not shade or a dig, but I can’t believe KK is only 33. That means she was young AF in all my favorite movies of hers, which are all of her movies.
