Man, best thing about Australia I miss; flip-flops are pretty damn common in first-class too. Got no time for this petty shit!

Censorship is censorship is censorship.

It’s not really a case of “X company pulled this”; every drug company does this in every single country in the world.

Some of us are naturally hair-free... On more than one occasion I’ve had people ask me what salon I get waxed at.

But the thing is... The director and casting directors have specifically said they were casting for a bilingual latina actress. The fact that the person with the most adept skill set wasn’t a traditionally latina actress(she only passes off as one, as opposed to actually being from Central America) is another matter;

It’s apparently pretty darn good; if you’re into giant monster films.

My takeaway was that the kids merely used the comics as an inspiration and decided to form their hideout/meeting point at the coordinates fictionally created in the comics.

Or jesus.... watch Eastern Promises if you wanna see ol’ Viggo enrage. Helps that it is one of the best gangster flicks I can recall ever watching.

Considering how Beatty caused this whole fucking mess I’d say it was lenient even.

I think it just goes with different things.

I somewhat understand those people; they are not so different from my Asian [older] relatives who find all Western foods bland and boring.

You should definitely at least give it a try... I prefer it many times over compared to regular Western mayo.

Agreed but the reality of tv shows is that circumstances rarely line up ideally. Just look at how abrupt Nathan’s ending was; the way Simon’s story got “wrapped up” was relatively poetic and wonderful in comparison.

Rudy not being able to replace Nathan is true but the way the show wrapped up Simon and Alisha’s storylines just help lift the entire season back up.

I know him from both... and every time I see him a part of me is always reminded of Simon’s beautiful, sad and endless story in Misfits.

I’d agree with you except season 3 wrapped up and completed Simon and Alysha’s stories. For that, it deserves to be seen as one of the great seasons.

Lol, China was isolationist but the backwaters of the British isles were supposedly bastions of multiculturalism?

I get what you’re saying but I have one thing to add:

I assume you grew up in the 80s/90s? The mantra that violence is “OK” but the slightest sexual innuendo is “NO BUENO” was even more rampant in that era than it is now.
