I know there is a lot of debate in Capri circles, but my personal favorite is the Capri II:
Soup cans and cars seem to be a time honored tradition.
Why are looking at my K-car?
I think this is my favorite Fiat. Completely 80's. As a kid, I had the Bertone brochure and dreamt of having one. I got to work on one once, and sadly realized there was no way I could ever fit in it.
My vote is for a Crosley.
That does look like a knock off...like Luxus, Panashiba or Kennethwood.
I remember an old episode of ‘The People’s Court’ where a guy was suing over damage someone did to his Glas. Wapner said something like “What the hell is that?” Wapner and Rusty trudged out to inspect it, pronounced it a piece of crap and gave the guy like 5 bucks.

In German it’s called “die Shartengrimmace”.
Why does this look like the “call nurse button” I would see upon waking up after having a kidney stolen?
While your larger point of the U.S. being relatively unaffected is true, there was rationing in the U.S. during WWII. Not as bad as in the U.K., but people got ration books.
I personally think this was Nissan’s best design work. Very clean.
