This makes me think of how today, I was trying to use "its" instead of "it's" in a text and yet autocorrect changed it to "it's" three times.

I would've voted for the cross-town 90 lines.

There are some clips in the "Shoot Me" documentary.

This is extremely important to me.

Well I loved "Perfect (Exceeder)" - I once had a party where people just kept independently starting it over once it ended and we ended up hearing it about 4-5 times in a row.

It was - I've had a friend who's been pushing her on me for a while so I finally gave her a try. I'll probably give The Blind Assassin a go once I've got some space on my reading list and then see if I want to get into a whole trilogy. She seems to have a knack for world-building that I find really impressive.

I just read The Handmaid's Tale for the first time and quite enjoyed it (although maybe "enjoyed" isn't quite the right word?) and I've now moved on to The Good Lord Bird and will probably read The Orphan Master's Son next (I'm trying to be better about newish fiction.) I'm only about 30 pages into The Good Lord Bird

Regarding "Rejuveniles" - Noxon is Jenji Kohan's husband, so that might just be an Easter egg. People read it a lot on Weeds as well, apparently.

Now Tayne I can get into.

And it appears they're just not going to fix that.

There All is Aching: 3 Stars.

Definitely not. That confused me too.

What I really liked about the first episode is that it gave the impression that this show could have taken place anywhere and been about any number of people. It's like a parallel universe version of the show we have.

You just love Adore. (And her mom.)

Midnight is when a day begins, so Friday at midnight = 12:00 am on June 6. I think the Saturday afternoon part is just a joke.

The Dream Operator scene is so fantastic, with all its weird shopping sloganeering.

My favorite recent discovery around that album was that Robert Palmer (yes, that Robert Palmer) played percussion on it.

El Pintor is also an anagram of Interpol. Wordplay!

I saw that tour on my birthday here in the DC area and it was so great. If I remember right, This Must Be The Place came right after Marrow by St. Vincent, so it was like this really claustrophobic moment followed by pure joy.
