And yes, twerking is not cute. For you.

Please stop tanning. You can never attain this level of deep, dark chocolaty realness.

Probably related to this. Which makes it even more insulting.

Now playing

Now that was shade. The kind that would get this type of response:

Please, she ain't gangsta. It takes a woman with that soulful, gut-growl voice to pull this one off. Plus musically, the song is ugly and barren, with no melody to speak of. And don't get me started on the painfully unclever and trite lyrics. Then again, I might be biased - I always thought that Rihanna tried too hard

And who could forget the infamous battle of the words between Roger Ebert and the filmmaker (whom I do not deem worthy of naming) over this repulsive piece of hyper-violent garbage:

"Careful now, my good fellow. We mustn't get too close or our combined hotness might cause a bloody explosion."

*swoon*

I'll just leave this here, just because.

"Pack it all up, nothing goes in storage

"....her eyes filling with blood."

Thank you for the kind response to my post. I am actually writing a book about my experiences as a former street kid in San Francisco and NYC's Greenwich Village. The question is, will I ever get off my ass and finish the damn thing!

I love this show, but, er, Mark, San Francisco IS over. I've lived there from 1980 - 2003 and watched every bit of fun and diversity sucked out of it, from the Mission District to Castro to the Western Addition (I've since returned to NYC).

Oh, yeah! Now let's post it on the internet so the WHOLE WORLD can see! I'm pretty sure that nasty little bullies won't print this out and post it all over the lockers at school. Sure. That won't happen. And EVENTUALLY, the photos will disappear from the interwebs, with time, and all will be forgotten. Of course.

Rave pants? Really? *shivers* Jesus, No. Don't let it happen again.

I would have geeked out over seeing her hubby Taylor Hackford, too!

I guess that just your opinion, but still, no. Apparently, if you've read the article, it goes into great detail about his work and the writing and producing he's done for others. None of them strike me as "tween" artists.

No.

Don. DOn. DON! Stop it.
