I think it’s something that I can relate with as person who has been pretty successful but constantly feels like I am doing dumb stuff and wondering how it’s working out for me.

Trials are expensive and all it takes is a mistrial/hung jury/good lawyer to get him off.... Plea Deal makes sense.

This seems incredibly unnecessary... It feels like what Jezebel complains about parents pushing beliefs on their kids but in this case they agree so it’s cool. Seems hypocritical to me.

How can it help? As someone who has dealt with this personally, I can tell you that many people who haven’t went through it don’t see a miscarriage as a real loss... This can help parents to legitamize it and help the grieving process. So that is one postive aspect.
