The decision is the “will of the American people.”
It’s unfortunate that Life has not presented him with all of the joy and satisfaction that he was expecting, but I am not responsible for that.
I am reminded to donate more money to the Red Cross. Hang in there, we’re with you!
Ooooh! So many good ideas! I will contact Nelson on Monday! I have a sun lamp myself, (which I call my Grow Light,) but I never seem to be in the same room that it’s in when I have time to use it! Maybe I should try to make it more portable, or even put it near the exercise bike, thereby killing at least two…
Hi, neighbor. Completely agree - the firefighters have been amazing. Can’t imagine how exhausted they must be. I’m in a voluntary evacuation area, but things seem to be settling down, provided the wind doesn’t pick up tomorrow. Stay safe.
Everything is awful.
My finals are Wednesday and I’ve done nothing to study. Tra la-la, fuckit!
Glad you are safe! That must be terrifying.
Hello and what are we drinking, kitty cats? Me, dry red wine. Yum. Last night I learned the answer to “is a 2014 Beaujolais Nouveau still okay”. Sadly, it is not still drinkable, and it was the only wine I had, so today I bought a fuckton of booze and the guy at the State Liquor Store asked me if I wanted gift bags!…
I feel you. I really do.
I think about you guys all the time. I used to live in Cali and my grandparents lived in Santa Barbara, but that was before the weather got so extreme. All I can hope for you guys, except for rain, is that the state and various counties can get some goats in there the next time there’s a big bout of rain like there…
I’m sorry this is a hard time of year for you, but I’m really appreciative of how you’re managing your feelings about your husband’s feelings. It’s something that can be hard for me in my life.
+1, from hell, which I guess is just Where I Live Now.
I’m from San Diego, and my mama still lives down there (though fortunately not north enough to be at risk from the current fire). I’m also friends with several SD firefighters, through my father. I live up in LA now, which of course is currently on fire in like 6 different places at once.
Hi Guys!
A toast to the badass firefighters and first responders here in San Diego fighting our wildfire. Though we lost quite a few homes many more were saved because of them. One firefighter even dislocated his shoulder in a propane tank explosion, put it back in, and went back to work. So many of my friends were…
HAHAHAHAH. EVERYTHING IS BAD.
