He didn’t endorse Hillary, ffs. He endorsed Trump.
He didn’t endorse Hillary, ffs. He endorsed Trump.
It’s not rolling the dice, it’s playing Russian Roulette.
If you’re going to wait for a perfect candidate in politics, you’ll be waiting forever. Yes, even St. Bernie. I wasn’t sold about Hillary at the beginning but she has won me over with a really pretty progressivee platform, her being a policy wonk helps when she has to deal with partisanship that has gridlocked our…
right? it’s not like rich people are gonna end up selling off their porches to pay taxes. well, maybe some of them, but they were probably avoiding paying their taxes for a long time.
I have relatives like that. Once when they were complaining about HOW MUCH they “unfairly” had to pay in taxes, I explained to them that they pay more in taxes than we earn in a year, and I didn’t want to hear about it.
they’re also constitutional scholars.
“Associated Press found that over half of the Clinton Foundation donors met with Clinton during her time in office;”
None of the Clinton Foundation controversy, however, is quite as blatant as what we’re allegedly looking at with Trump.
If anything, you are trolling me. Furthermore, I am fucking tired of people who self-identify as “left-wing” torturing both logic and the historical record to assert that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are in any sense similarly “compromised” when she’s an excellent person, candidate and public servant and he…
It’s not, but a lot of it happens because the city does a poor job of allowing dormitory-style housing (which is what would replace crawlspaces like this if it were easier to build it).
It'll be more business-friendly because it won't cause a massive recession.
It’ll be far more pro-business, because it won’t expel massive numbers of their undocumented employees or start trade wars arbitrarily. “Pro-business” is fine when it isn’t also anti-democratic, -labor, -environmental, etc.
But where are the clear examples of her entitlement, cluelessness about the non-rich (which she used to be) and non-feminism? This woman made her own way up the ladder, and the amount of hate she gets from other women who have not enjoyed her level of success (most PEOPLE have not enjoyed her level of success) seems…
Feels at times like Sandberg gets some unwarranted hate. She herself wasn’t a trust fund baby; she has a middle class background. I get that she is now one of the untouchable .0001% and thus may seem a bit out of touch with the “common woman” at times, but she didn’t start out that way.
It’s the 538 Nowcast, which really shouldn’t be cited like this, but I guess the commenter thought the polls-only or polls-plus forecasts wouldn’t look as good.
God...I was not feeling well yesterday so I didn’t work and I watched a ton of CNN (mistake). All day long they would talk about how Hillary did not immediately announce that she had pneumonia and how that was just one more example of her lack of transparency. Even worse, she had even felt sick for several days prior…
“In the early days of the Obama White House..."
They’re not taxed extra. They’re just subject to regular sales tax.
Looks like condoms are taxed, which matches my recollection:
