A lot of women and men aren’t lucky enough to be able to leave instantly. Most domestic violence cases end in tragedy when the victim tries to leave. Good for you for getting out when you could but I hope you’re not shaming anyone for staying with abusive partners. It’s not that easy for a lot of them.
