The thing with Content ID is that it’s automated (for the most part). They don’t go around saying “this has to go, and this has to go, and this and this”, the system just looks at the videos and flags those that it thinks are infringements.

The main issue with that argument is that they depend on public support. They exist because of it and they will cease existing if they don’t get it. There was no other choice but to take back the trademark.
