So, doing what every other OpenStreetMap-based app has been doing for a decade now? If Google’s trail data is as good as its pedestrian directions in the city, you’re better off going back to a paper map from the ranger station.

The fact this works says disgusting things about the mindset of drivers.

What would make a real difference is banning drivers who pick up or drop off while double parked, blocking a loading zone, or otherwise in a spot illegal to stop.  Or just requiring their cabbies to get a taxi medallion.

Honestly just solving for 80% of trips would make a big start.  Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.

Bike lanes?  Or painted bicycle gutters and door zones?

I’m not sure that the weather hazard itself is the bigger danger than a pileup magnet is. But if you do gotta stop, at least get as far into the grass as you can get back out of and far enough away from another hazard (such as an overpass) where you will still be seen easily.

I’ve only seen ‘em on the most basic models, like the Kia Sephia on the versions that didn’t have a stereo or air conditioner.  Heck, they were standard on the Kia Sportage, a surprisingly capable little 4x4 that had a base price of $8550 in 1995.

How do you figure?  Bicycles are speed competitive with traffic in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and it just gets slower thr larger the city you get into.

Found the Mitsubishi dealer.  Gotta be like owning a Blockbuster franchise at this point.

Outdoor furry convention staff car.

They should just give both riders 5 minutes penalty for fighting and let em resume!
