I tend to be a bit of a “personal furry”, in that my day to day personality is applied to my fursona. Partly because I’m lazy and that makes it easy, and partly because I don’t turn it on or off easily and it doesn’t make it weird.

I think that probably goes for most rural parts of the world that aren’t a bit nerdy themselves (like places that don’t have a country or renaissance faire, powwow, or similarly quirky event).
