Why would you need to qualify that there's a rhythm section during an instrumental solo? Do most solos happen with no accompaniment?

"base"?

Album version, of course.

Are you 10 or 90?

There's nothing "cheese-rock" about them.

Josie is amazing but that's not remotely a solo.

Fagen*

Lennon/McCartney/Harrison.

Not an organ.

I don't remember anything like that on that song…what you're describing sounds like "Church of the Poison Mind."

'Do Ya'

Jr. Walker played the solo on "Urgent"…and Thomas Dolby was on keys.

I love H2O in general but not Maneater. Overall there are so many 80s songs you could've picked that are so much better than those.

That's maybe the most bizarre take I've ever heard on a pop song.

That's not organ.

But can they hear Jimi?

Any of a ton of Popper harp solos…they're mindbending even if you DON'T realize what has to be happening both physically and cerebrally to execute them. Too bad he's a fucking nut. Also Jimmy Z's solos on the live (Mandela concert?) Eurythmics take on "There Must Be an Angel."

The recurring sax theme in Baker Street effectively is the choruses of the song.

That's a shame.

Well what if Kid Rock turned out to be depressed and killed himself? Or Ted Nugent? I would feel weird posting a tribute because it would seem to anyone reading it like I was a fan of that artist/person.
