Me too, but Horrified still gets more plays.

It never occurred to me to play two characters at once, thanks for the suggestion!
A faster game sounds good too. My wife is still kind of on the fence about the whole board games thing, and I'm hoping this will make a convert of her.
As an introduction to 'grown up' board games, I got Pandemic this week. Looking forward to having a go, but the friends that were supposed to come over can't make it. Is it possible to have a decent game with just two people, or does it go on forever? And does the gameplay change?
"Kill jester."
*Deep breath* NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Oh, you've stopped. I'm so ashamed, I just got caught up in the moment.
I often draw my wife's attention to this while she's watching one of the many 'peak TV' dramas there are these days, by asking where Bouncer* is. Yes, I am that annoying.
Some good examples there, thanks. The pinball one especially interests me, not having the space for a table or the time to maintain one. Is it in any way comparable to playing an actual table?
Maybe it's because I'm old but I keep hoping for more genteel VR games to be announced, like stuff where you're transported to beautiful or impossible places but without the chance of a massive coronary.
I'm inclined to agree. I just hope Sony stick with it long enough to warrant another generation.
Skyrim VR is certainly heading in the right direction but I've already played that so much.
I just stopped and thought about your stopping and thinking. Not only did you come to an uncomfortable conclusion, I think it may also be a troubling outcome. Now that I stop and think about it, it's probably a disagreeable finale too.
I'm mostly just reminded that I need to get back and finish Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Also, I was really hoping for something that would push me over the edge PSVR-wise. I really want to buy one but it's a whole lot of money for a sucker with kids. Make me an offer I can't refuse, Playstation!
Is this the same as shouting AVENGERS ASSEMBLE?
I don't get what's so "baffling" about a series of fantasy movies for kids. The cars talk. They look like toys come to life. My kids like them. Kids like a lot of stuff that adults reject as rubbish. I was the same at that age. What's baffling is fully grown adults furrowing their brows and muttering about how weird…
Honestly, no. And I really wanted him to!
I felt like more of the runtime was given over to a religious family pleading with the God they love as to why he despises them so much. Which is great, and I enjoyed. But by the time the horror elements really kicked in, I thought it was too little too late.
I suppose I swing a bit more towards the creeping dread end of things. The Shining still gives me shivers even after watching it multiple times. The Exorcist worked like gangbusters on me, but then I grew up in good old Catholic Ireland. It Follows left an impression on me afterwards, even though I think it has its…
Finally, our candlelight vigil can end. Welcome back, sir.
I wonder if it's easier to get finance for your movie if you pitch it as being in the horror genre. While I appreciate many of these 'new wave' horror films, I often get the impression that the horror side of the story is not as interesting to those involved as some other theme, and so the whole thing feels watered…
Because what made the original movies so successful were the huge explosions and massive set pieces and the shouting and the running, always running.
I love the Universal old guard - I have a pile of Famous Monsters back issues that I still leaf through now and again - but would these characters even work these days in…
This episode ruined me as a child. The DeerPigMan offering himself up to be eaten sticks with me to this day. I remember at the time feeling a curious mix of sadness, disgust and fascination, and going to the toilet afterwards because I felt sick, only to end up having a bit of a cry.
Don't forget 'Gowl'.
As in, 'C'mere to me 'til I give you a punch up the gowl.'
Yes, I am Irish, thanks for asking.
