Viggo Benderas?
Viggo Benderas?
Wait a tick... I thought white phosphorous was banned?
At least a small consolation: if they're already building London to the same level of detail as Unity's Venice, no reason they can't re-use that (potentially) incredible setting to showcase a lady assassin in a later game or expansion... unless, of course, Victory's male protagonist offs Jack the Ripper himself :-p
A female assassin hunting Jack the Ripper throughout Victorian London? YISSSSSS
I haven't yet budgeted the time for DA:I (so likely won't play it until next year), and I'm normally fine with skipping unplayed early (i.e. less refined) games in favor of just brushing up on lore, but with Bioware's frequently top-notch presentation of supporting characters, I figured it might still be worth…
I especially liked the bit when the big dude in the red jersey gets backed over at 0:41... and then a few seconds later he gets OUT OF THE VERY CAR THAT BACKED OVER HIM.
*bwaaooooommmmmmmm* Inception.
Looks decent, although I'm still waiting for my GitS-themed 3rd person traversal/combat game. Almost had it back in the day with Oni... think how cool a Sleeping Dogs-style game based in the GitS universe would be!!
Hell, Sleeping Dogs already seems halfway there with its decent hand-to-hand combat and neon-soaked…
Also, somewhat buried in the patch notes for this release (it's currently listed as a patch not actual DLC on Steam) show they've also finally added Nvidia SLI support!

DLC question- is the bit where you fight Sauron that was advertised as part of the season pass still forthcoming, or was it actually out at release and I just haven't managed to find it yet?
Not that the game has started getting too repetitive, mind you... in fact, the various "poo-themed" orcs didn't even start appearing until after I beat the game :-p
It's funny... I'm having something of the opposite problem. Ever since I beat the game, I cannot seem to get any recognizable faces reappear. Even if I defeat them as gently as possible (basic sword-ing, throwing them *gently* off cliffs, affectionate shanking), doing everything I can to keep their adorably ugly…
Hmmm... if the "mega betrayal" video that's been making the rounds is to be believed, even "head explosions" aren't a sure-fire way to produce a pile o' bones...
(fast forward to 3:50 if the clip doesn't do it automatically)
I think it really does come down to the "remove the head entirely" method, although you're correct in that a decapitation can't always be reliably "executed" (heh).
*mild spoiler alert* However- I have found that after purchasing the upgrade that causes drain kills (including those that happen when you select 'kill'…
I've been tangling with a Tor Troll-Born quite frequently- an impressively large fellow in an apron with a big knobby bone to smash wif.
He's all pasty and blue-eyed now, so I think basically he's undead. Stabbed him through the head (from the chin up) last night; still waiting to see if that takes.
Got killed three times in the first 25 minutes or so of play, and got to see the third one who killed me (a random dude) immediately ambush and kill the chief who was the first orc to kill me... if the rest of the game is like this, I'm stoked!
I'm inclined to place the add-on battle with Sauron more in the "fan-service" category than "story mission" category. Not that I'm acquainted with the intricacies of the plot yet, but it would seem for a lowly semi-dead ranger to even get close to Sauron (even with a pissed off elder elvish spectre on board) would be…
