IF this title actually reaches it to market and IF it’s not still absolutely lousy with monetization the way many commenters are legitimately concerned, it’s going to be really interesting to see how the Nemesis system is iterated on outside of its “home turf” in the “Shadow of Mordor/War” series

I think at its core,

Absolutely seeing this same behavior in my first playthrough of Starfield as well, although one of the first times I witnessed it there was still a predator or two hanging around the kills (maybe they have eating animations?) so there wasn’t much mystery to begin with.

Another, even more off-putting way the game’s mix

You’re definitely not isolated in both 1) loving the game to death (stranding) including its heady (even overwrought) themes and delivery, while 2) still being able to chuckle at just how far up his own intellectual rectum Kojima seems to be with this stuff.

FYI, I think I love the first game’s bonkers premise even mor

Well, technically you’re getting a nine inch action figure, so... thumbs up?

Is it just me, or does the BraveStarr opening theme sound like it’s recited by Steve Martin??

I hadn’t even heard of that one yet!  Interesting reversal of the standard e-bike trend of mid-drive motor, belt drive, and rear wheel internal geared shifting hub.  I’ll definitely check Pinion out - thanks!

Gotcha, thanks. That third paragraph was the one I missed. Good to know that there don’t seem to be any noteworthy physics based drawbacks to having all the shifting hardware mounted mid and low.

I’ve been daydreaming about a switch to a belt drive+enviolo hub setup for a while now (mainly for the low maintenance

I’m curious, since I’ve seen a few stories this past week about bottom bracket-mounted gearing systems. Are there any general advantages/disadvantages from a basic application of force basis to having the shifting system mounted mid-bike, with the pedals/cranks, versus the conventional rear wheel/cassette assembly?

Dang, born & raised in Chicago (plenty icy) and then moved to Minnesota with no garage (even icier), and NONE of my friends or relatives ever clued me into this.  Nice!

Shame the timing didn’t work out for Henry Cavill being cast as Adam Warlock for Guardians 3.

Cavill has always struck me as (occasionally) just a TAD too haughty in his portrayal of Superman, but physique and personality-wise I think he would be PERFECT for Warlock.

I managed to score a 2012 SX4 (automatic, not manual unfortunately) here in Minnesota back in Jan. of 2019. I had my eye out for an SX4 for years for all the reasons you describe, but they’re also really popular here in MN for the same reasons so you tend to need to act quickly to pick one up.

So far it’s totally

Jumping on for a boring, maybe plausible(?) explanation - sun in the eyes? From the secondary shot, looks like the driver’s direction of travel was heading directly into the setting sun, with possibly high-glare cloud activity present.

But yeah... as others have posted cell phone use remains the front-runner for

I love the overall look (and price!) of it, but I’m a little skeptical of that perforated area directly behind the front wheel. It has a key lock... surely that can’t be where you slide out the removable battery?

Do we know yet if Pablo Schreiber is going to be helmet-less for some/any of the show?

Makes me wonder how worried Halo’s show runners should be that The Mandalorian has already swooped in an eaten their “gruff, always-helmeted space soldier hero” lunch.

Looks like it might be fun (esp. for younger/newer gamers), but...

NEEDS MORE “MALAKA” !!!11!11!!

initial indications are that there were no active duty Navy personnel or equipment involved with this independent organization’s event”

I’ve wanted one of these slim-profile, tandem seating (with tilting!) vehicles, autonomous or not, for a LOOONG time because, as you point out, 90% of the time I’m driving by myself. But the thing that always catches me up short is the fact that in snow cities, ice rutting in alleys and infrequently-plowed residential

Just a quick public service announcement: if you’re reading this story out loud to anyone, the correct pronunciation of the last sentence is

It looks like Disney is at least mainly using actual  dogs (with CG speaking animation) for Lady and the Tramp versus the wholly-CG creations for Lion King.

In spite of the article’s comparison to John Mulaney, I’m kinda surprised no one has pointed out that the star looks more like  the love child of an unholy union between Benedict Cumberbatch and Stephen Dorff.
