Just so long as they don't cast Michael Jai White in the role either. He's definitely got the action/martial arts chops (ha!) and Black Dynamite was hilarious... but I don't think his acting would be quite up to it (Spawn, anyone?).

Dang... sounds like it may have fallen victim to the same issue as "Sunshine". Intriguing science fiction premise set up in the first half but abandoned for spectacle in the second. Will still definitely try and catch the film opening weekend though.

I don't think your statement contradicts mine. What you're saying describes the repugnance someone can (and should, Iagree) feel when witnessing the injuring or killing of a pet (or any living creature) IN REAL LIFE.

Without commenting on whether or not animals (and the ability to hurt or kill them) SHOULD or should NOT be in a game, here's one possible explanation for why many people DO feel genuinely uncomfortable when this ability is present:
