Crazy talk! "T&R" is an essential Death Cab track for me. Funny how that works. I became a fan before "Photo Album's" release, but those first two records sound a little "learning on the job" to me. Still, they contain the songs I heard first live or on record. I'll listen to them again with your assessment in mind.

It works in the context of the album so much better than as a standalone track, where it comes off as musically slight, and more interesting for the lyrics. This remains my fave Death Cab record.
