Nope, I didn’t think about that sort of stuff either when I was a kid. My husband’s family is more traditional and some of his relatives were baffled when I didn’t get excited and into the wedding hoopla. They had to practically force me to have a wedding shower and a bachelorette party. We had a nice simple wedding

Not weird. I’m delighted to be married, but the actual wedding was something to politely endure. I was never interested in weddings and that didn’t really change when it was mine. I wanted a small gathering of close family and friends, but my husband’s family wanted the big wedding... so we did that. (Bonus: Their

not weird! I never dreamed about getting married. it was more of a “do I have to?” thought

That is... really sad

I certainly didn’t dream about my wedding or having kids my whole life, even though I ended up married and having a kid in my 30s, so I have never understood that “Every girl dreams about this day!” schlock. But I definitely had a roommate who had her entire wedding planned, down to the flowers and dress, a la Monica

Thank you, me neither. I just posted a similar comment. It baffles me when people say they thought about that moment for their entire lives. Wow. It always gives me the sense that they are going to be pretty let down when the discover the mundane reality of everyday marriage.

Regarding that Zinke comment, doesn’t that constitute libel? He is no uncertain terms calling Grijalva an alcoholic. That kind of claim could certainly causes damages (or rather, I am confident lawyers could make that case), so I would love to see this bite Zinke in the ass.

Zinke released a statement saying, “It’s hard for him to think straight from the bottom of the bottle.”

Memo to the White House PR dept: don’t juxtapose Trump with the three best looking world leaders; Spain’s Sanchez, Canada’s Trudeau and France’s Macron. Next to those three cover boys with their cover boy hair and their fancy higher educations and their English fluency, it just makes the hideous ignoramus with the albi

Crimes, on the other hand, are something that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort seems to really enjoy doing.

An excerpt from the new compendium of off-the-record conversations with Paul Ryan: Atlas Unplugged

Still, Ryan said he thought “history is going to be very good to this majority” because of the tax overhaul passed under his leadership and increased funding for the military. He paused for effect, smiling like a Cheshire cat “That is, of course, because we’ll write the history, as we always have.”

my grandparents hated the golden girls. “always talkin bout vaginas” they said.

He’s had a beard for a while now, her name is Heidi. Keep up.

Your comments don’t diminish Oprah; they diminish you. No human being is perfect, and Oprah has been more than transparent in sharing the challenges she has faced in her life. When you have walked a mile in her shoes, you might acquire more insight and less ignorance. “Judge not, less ye be judged.” What does it

Yeah, but nobody worries about changing Trump; he just shits on the Constitution every day

this has left Congress struggling to adapt to a new reality: a lot more young moms with young children serving in office.

Except the voters - they are made in Russia.

Well, it's too soon to be five fucking degrees outside.
