Husker Du was my first punk rock show in ‘86. Candy Apple Grey, then again on the warehouse tour. They were amazing. Was my go to on the bus to school. Saw Bob a few times after that, saw Nova Mob once too. But neither was as good as Husker.

Husker Du was my first show i ever attended at the First Avenue. Changed my life. I loved the all ages punk shows back then. Went to as many as I could. For some reason this past week I have been listening to a lot of Husker Du. I am glad I did. Thank you Grant Hart, for your role in shaping my musical life. RIP.
