That this is what’s finally going to do in the Japanese arcade industry is fuckin’ heartbreaking. 😐

As someone who’s never had even the slightest bit of interest in MOBAs I can’t speak to whether Nintendo missed their window with the Pokémon MOBA... But I know the P-A guys have been enjoying the heck out of it on stream...though they do have some complaints, for example the comic preceding the one aggregated above:

Well, yeah. But that doesn’t solve the problem of why they might want to do it in the first place; to participate in the whole community.

It’s very possible this second server will max out one day too. I also wonder how many people who are part of the original server are joining the new server too? Seems like a jerk move, but then again if you want to stay connected to the wider community I could see folks double-dipping.

Christ. This sounds more like it belongs in the SCP wiki than a Pokédex.

Why does it feel like I read about this type of shit every single day. I lose just a little bit of hope in humanity whenever I do. I’m so sorry.

I have grown so much, developed so far beyond the terrified woman who started here last May

Hard agree on the Disney comparison... This is some pretty draconian copyright enforcement, as well as being rather overreaching in its scope. 😬

What in the actual unholy fuck.

Not to ring the alarm unnecessarily, but were these “inexcusable and unacceptable” comments....racist?

And here I am starring and replying to your FOUR YEAR OLD COMMENT as if to prove the fucking point. 🤦‍♂️

I bet Capcom could fix Street Fighter V in less time than it takes for Guilty Gear Strive to reach the main menu. 😏

You can install Windows on the Steam Deck, and at that point you have access to whatever you want.

It’s for people who got a Switch thinking that—in addition to playing the standard ‘Nintendo genre’ games—they’d be able to play all their favorite RPGs and indie games on the go...only to find out that the prices on those games are jacked all the way up and they basically never go on sale by more than a few dollars.

Preaching to the choir, bud.

Are those moments of self-harm necessary within the game itself? Not just a “you must do this to progress further in the game” thing, but narratively conceived and presented as part of the larger whole?

Really? You think that do you? You’ve clearly never played the game before in your life.

...why though? I mean, it’s their game, they can do what they want, I’m not going to throw a tantrum...

My God.... I want that to be real so much.

Having seen the trailer for “Sweet Girl” a week or so ago, my first thought was “Gawd, another one of these?” and then “But damn does Jason Mamoa make a good ‘Angry badass revenge-dad’...”
