While the fiscal year was no doubt a huge incentive for getting the expansion out the door and ultimately responsible for it launching in such a state, the demands of the playerbase were a not-insignificant factor.

While there’s no denying that there’s a lot of bugs, there’s surprisingly few when you consider they’ve shoehorned a whole-ass FPS into an already complex and deeply-interconnected game. Not to mention overhauling several systems of the underlying game engine. (Such as planetary surface generation and graphics.) 🤔
