ViacomCBS controls Chappelle’s Show now and doesn’t have to give him any part of it because of a contract he signed before he left the show.

This is absolutely precious! 🤩 And it’s been a bright spot for me in an otherwise abysmally dysfunctional Thanksgiving. (Animal Crossing’s Turkey Day was also a welcome distraction.)  So, thank you Ash, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Kinda hard to delay it again when the game’s already in the hands of retailers. Considering how highly anticipated the game is, and how badly we all need something, anything, to salve the wounds this year has inflicted, I can only see another delay resulting in a rash of burglaries and stores straight up breaking

Does this mean management is going to force Xavier Woods to stop playing Dungeons & Dragons on stream with the guys from Penny-Arcade? 🤔

Grand Theft Auto V, in case you forget, was first released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in September 2013. It didn’t arrive on the PS4 and Xbox One until 2014.

💛 SMB3. First game I ever preordered.  Wish I still had the box......or the cartridge, for that matter. I only had a handful of NES games, but I miss it almost as much as I miss my SNES and the three dozen games I had for that. 😢

Original Xbox. I bought one used literally just to play a copy of Steel Battalion I got off eBay... The only other game I own is a copy of Splinter Cell that came with it. The original Steel Battalion didn’t get enough love, and that’s why I’m disappointed with the console.

Remakes wouldn’t be that much effort... The problem is, knowing Squenix, they’d go all FF7R on it; Make the combat realtime(ish) and really just hammer out everything which made it unique until it’s a generic modern game with the same story. 😑 And honestly, it deserves remakes... There’s quite a vacuum in the

lol, FM3 will always have a place in my heart because I live in one of the locations where the MIDAS weapon was developed. A really random one; Middlebury, Vermont. I can only imagine somebody at Square had family attending Middlebury College and threw that in there for a laugh. I mean, it doesn’t make any sense, it’s

Rarely. They did release FM4 in the US for the PS2. Dunno why they didn’t do FM5, because as much as I like FM4, FM5 was really something.

Yeahhh, I helped fund the new BattleTech game, because I’m an O.G. BT nerd. Been playing BattleTech since the 1990s.  Neither the aesthetics, nor the gameplay, are remotely similar. 🤨

idk about the mech designs looking like Virtual-On... But I know what this game looks like; a natural evolution of the Front Mission series.

This game looks a lot like my favorite Square strategy game... FRONT MISSION.

Christ... I don’t remember that at all, but it’s hardly surprising; the dub was produced for Spike TV and that sort of thing fits their target demo like a glove. 😬

It was better as Takeshi’s Castle. 😒

That Xbox NCW was just a special non-stream video. Both of these trailers ran as-is during the latest NCW...which is usually how it goes. (They have additional content in-between which is only part of NCW, but the individual segments and trailers and things get uploaded to YouTube as their own vids.)

Y’know... Considering Xbox Game Pass typically costs between ONE DOLLAR and $4.99 a month... That doesn’t seem like much of a bonus. Why the hell don’t they include a whole year? I mean, that sounds more like it, and it’s only $60.

Well, both of the new trailers (The 5-minute gameplay trailer, and the Johnny Silverhand trailer) were part of the Night City Wire episode.

To be fair, it seems only fitting; it’s looking like Johnny has a bigger part to play (and be played) in this game than any of us had imagined.
