I spent the weekend putting the finishing touches on the mechanical assembly of the new rudder pedals for my imaginary spaceship. Now all that’s left is to solder up, program, and install the electronics. (Consisting of an Arduino and three magnetic sensors.) ...oh, and maybe make a base for it? Yeah, probably.

That pic of Scarlet and Snake Eyes is super cool. On a related note, anybody else find themselves on YouTube, watching Hasbro’s official stream of old G.I. JOE cartoons? Not gonna lie, I have spent more hours than I care to admit in the past week just lying in bed watching it...

I immediately felt weirdly vulnerable. Sitting in that position with a door wide open to a room and a TV felt strange and unnerving. Like I was setting myself up for some sitcom shenanigans. I also found it hard to focus on the game while half-naked on a toilet.

I’ve never understood people who try to contextualize this sort of behavior as “trolling” or some other abstract horseshit.
