No...that’s not what I’m talking about...

I’m not talking about the actual port. I’m talking about how Bayonetta 2 came in a cart while Bayonetta 1 was digital only in the physical release.

Yeah, I’d say both contribute to this issue. That’s fine, I’ll pay more. I just don’t want to open a game case and find a 16 digit code, you know? Physical releases should be just that. Physical.

I more or less just said this. But no, there are no limitations outside of companies being cheap. There are larger carts available now. There is no excuse.

It’s unfortunate you just never know or really understand why some ports are half-assed and others are ported perfectly. No reason why the Switch version should have suffered.

And there it is. Nothing to do with actual limitations. These companies are just cheap fucks. Typical. So be it. I’ll pay a “Switch tax”. But stop setting this dangerous precedent where all Switch games are a box with digital codes in it (RE: Revelations, you can die) or done half -ass...id...ly? (Is that a word?)

Personally, I think more people need to stop putting so much faith in these shitty indie games. The majority of which, really do suck. Not saying its your fault by any means. But be leary opening that wallet.

I Am Setsuna and Wonderboy!

Yakuza 0, Drakengard 3, Fire Emblem Warriors and I Am Setsuna. *Maybe* Assassins Creed Origins, but I doubt it.

Of course. It’s just a question I had to ask. To each their own. I find it difficult to relate to such young protagonists, that’s all.

I’m using the Fire 8" right now and it’s great. I paid 70 bucks for mine and it certainly doesn’t come across as a cheap tablet. This is a quality piece of hardware. We have 2 in the house and it’s great for the baby to watch videos, for reading my manga, or just using the internet when your smartphone just doesn’t

Interesting. Thanks!

I’ve taught in many Japanese schools. It sort of ruins the experience when your the one on the other side of the desk. The appeal certainly isn’t lost on me, though. They are fantastic games. Just no longer for me.

And why exactly? It’s a fairly legitimate thought and discussion point.

Kotaku commenters/readers don’t strike me as the type of demographic an anime about 14 year olds would relate towards. Maybe I’m wrong. But really, how do you relate to such young protagonists? I mean, I’ve taught 14 year olds. At 42 it makes me nauseous to watch this type of anime or play games like Persona. Just a

We’re not talking about tourists. We’re talking about foreign residents in Japan, which this Youtuber is. Like I said above. Nobody is suggesting foreigners adapt in a matter of days. Not even Japanese think that way.

I agree 100%. Tourists should be pretty much exempt. Even Japanese know this. But this guy lives in Japan. It’s a whole other ballgame. Granted, he is a youtuber. They’re all kinda weird haha. But he definitely knows better.

Living in Japan for so many years has made it so that foreigners like me have to answer questions asked by Japanese about foreigners like him. There’s always idiots that just have to push the boundaries and just refuse to try and understand Japanese social rules. Most are unspoken, but these particular foreigners need

If course they’re on your team lol. Online gaming can be cruel...

Haha I don’t speak spanish, but I definitely understood that!
