It's scary stuff.

Agreed. And like someone noted above, demonstrating happens quite often. But this should have never happened. No excuse for such a passive attempt. Guy was clearly going to light himself on fire. Why wasn't he doused with water beforehand? The fact you said there was a mat below makes this even more frustrating to me.

Nasty, unbelievable things happen every day here in Japan, just like any other country. But immolation is not something that happens often. So it was a bit unusual. What really should be discussed here is why nobody tried to stop a man standing on a walkway and shout into a megaphone for an HOUR. No, let's just watch

I'm not really one to normally care about these things, but reading that Phil Spencer quote gave me the distinct desire to tell him to go fuck himself.

Robots dude. And monsters. That movie was not meant to be taken seriously.

Never seen it. Not really a crime or the end of the world. I'm 38, so I'm assuming it came out at least in the past 40 years. Yes?

That's probably why then.

lol nice one. I don't actually remember Hellboy doing that well. And I don't even remember Pan's. When did that come out? Must have been young.

It's giant robots fighting alien monsters. It's not exactly Shawshank Redemption we're talking about here. It's really okay to watch a movie for what it is, and not be overly critical.

Not really what I was thinking of.

You know what I'm waiting for? You know that point where the final boss tries to explain why he does what he does, in a last ditch effort to convince you to join his side? I'd like the option to turn around and say to my party, "yeah this guy is totally right." And then for the remainder of the game we just destroy

To be fair to the last one there, "ana". It's not unusual for people to use hiragana for katakana words, and vice-versa. Granted, it can be a bit odd. But you do see it all the time. So I don't really think that one is a big deal.

Ok, thanks! I'll see how much they go for on Amazon.

I've always wanted to try a Transformers game, but haven't. Do I need to play the older games to know what's going on in this one?

I'm sorry, I'm out of the loop. Is there a new album?! Because that would absolutely make my day.

Seems like you do to me...

Ah, no. Happily married and living in Tochigi-ken. But thanks. And not really sure what any of that has to do with anything really.

You don't actually live here in Japan, do you? Because if you did you would know GU products are absolutely made in China. Along with the majority of Uniqlo products.

Blame EA. Sony has nothing to do with what a publisher decides to sell their games for.

I like Uniqlo. But the quality is so much higher there than GU. You are throwing your money away if you shop at GU. It's purely disposable junk.
