Hey, people can buy what they want. But if you think flooding the market with game after game having the same look is healthy for the industry, you are absolutely fooling yourself.
Well, the simplified version is that if you aren't Japanese, you're an outsider. Even if your a Japanese citizen born and raised here, if your anything but pure Japanese you'll be treated differently. (The irony being many Japanese are mixed. But many deny or are too dumb to realize it. But that's another story.)

I am beyond exausted looking at every indie game being released these days with the exact same art style. It went from slightly interesting, to absurdly comic, to completely annoying fairly quickly.
Last time this happened, prices of goods actually fell. The theory is that will happen again. I sure hope so.
