Probably the creepiest thing this season was Victor’s MRA wank fantasy being acted out. Petty, controlling guy decides he’ll just kill a woman rather than let her live her own life.

Terrible science check. Anti GMO check. White saviour in Africa check. Going to be a struggle to enjoy anything about this.

At its core it is a commentary on societal class differences, dystopian through the distribution and means of tech within those tiers of society.

There’s some really interesting moments in the first two episodes; Dr. Millican’s reliance on the increasingly malfunctioning Hody to be his memory as dementia sets in is particularly touching.

At least it didn’t have screaming fighter jets roar past? I’m incredibly cynical of any show that sets up a Go Team America vibe.

So the reveal is little more than an exclusive gated community for a majority white population where minorities do the dry cleaning. Got it. So many plot holes in that ‘reveal’.
