You can take almost anything, you just need to know HOW to drive in the sand. I took my slightly lowered 83 Starlet into the sand dunes before and never got stuck. Drove right past trucks buried to the frame. It's all about momentum.

Ya it's cool. Although it looks like understeering is it's best friend and it's definitely not as fast and agile as it's Legacy rival.

Southern California, I sadly sold her after having it for about 8 years. I always wanted to rally cross it, but due to the modifications (Type 2 trans, 1835, Megasquirt Fuel Injection, turn brakes, Kingpin front end), I would be in Mod which I didn't have the confidence for yet running against turbo cars.
