That’s what *some* people wanted. If the remake had been like the hypothetical one you described I would’ve had zero interest in it at all, but once I started seeing what they were doing with it it changed my mind and made me actually want this version of the game (previously I was against the idea of remaking the

I certainly can’t agree with this. I’ve rewatched stuff from my childhood and my brain still filled in the gaps, and I’ve played and watched things from back then that I’d never seen or played before and my 34 year old adult brain still did the exact same thing.

For $7, these are considerably better than anyone has a right to expect.

“These fics are more exciting than our actual sex life”

The magic system is pretty tedious, I don’t have the time to sit there drawing from creatures for an hour every time I encounter a new spell.”

I went to one with my parent in the 90s and the decor was cool, but the food meh, as expected. Still wish themed restaurants were more of a thing, cause they’re cool to look at when the decor is right, but the food is usually mediocre and overpriced and people don’t have money to throw around like they did in the 90s.

Or like, you could just say “I’m sorry, I’m kinda busy right now, can we talk later” instead of using an overly flowery ‘template’ that sounds borderline sociopathic?

Aside from what everyone else already said, they also had kinda implied/stated that for the fighter’s pass they wanted to feature characters from series that haven’t already been represented in Smash. And they did, with the first four, and that was cool, but then they hyped this last one, and it ended up being from a

I don’t understand all these “waaaaah! They’re adding new thiiiiiiings” comments in here. If they didn’t, this entire game would be 5 hours long. Maybe even less, since we don’t have random turn based encounters anymore. There was absolutely no way they were going to stretch Midgar out to a full game’s length (even by

oh my god, log off please.

Having seen the musical, it still blows my mind that anyone, anywhere at any point in the world saw it and said “Wow this is good” and that decades later someone for some reason that will never be understood said “We should make a movie out of this, but make it look terrible” and that a studio said “Wow that actually

Kind of, but the way you’ve described it, like just the sentences you typed out there, are about a thousand times more interesting than anything that happens in the musical.

Kind of same, but even the musical is notoriously terrible/boring, so like, even if the effects in this movie looked good instead of embarrassingly terrible, I'll wait until it's free on a streaming service because fuck no I'm not giving them my money for THIS movie.

On the one hand, thank god, but on the other, it’s a little too late for this for me. I HATE any games that make you use the L3 button for anything but sprinting. It’s WAY to easy to accidentally press them and then screw yourself over. I’m playing Code Vein atm, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been trying to

Eh, they could’ve told the story better and I wish there had been more exploration because it literally WAS corridors (like, just look at the maps until you get to Pulse...and then there’s not even anything to do on Pulse except monster hunts), but it was still in my top 3 Final Fantasies.

Anyone who’s a true fan” oh eff off

You literally whined and moaned about “reboots” and then suggested that the solution is limited series that end and then a "new take" AKA a reboot afterwards.

But this isn’t a list of cultural phenomenon of the decade, it’s a list of best TV shows THIS YEAR, and GoT was just not one of them.

I got about 4 or 5 episodes into Tuca and bertie, both by myself and then with a friend and I still couldn’t get into it either time. I *was* told that it did get better in the later half of the season, so I eventually will go back to it, but those first episodes were just not making me want to continue at all.

I’ve never been on the Undertale hype train, but there are plenty of PC games that people want/have wanted a Switch for. Hell, I almost got a Switch just for Hollow Knight before it was announced for PS4 and there’s other PC only games I would love to have come out on Switch.
