"Japanese people aren't interested in things that don't change."

I don't think it's that weird. No matter how good the graphics are, a movie is a movie. There's a disconnect there because you're just watching what's unfolding, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Oh, sure. You think it's cute to break out a few board games with a cat around but don't — it's a bad idea.

Then it should be on PS3 instead, which has a larger user base, and then there could even be crossplay between that and the Vita.

Having played the game, I can honestly say that as good as it is (and yes, it's better than a typical handheld game), it's quite obviously a portable game, and nothing will ever change that short of completely reworking the entire structure of the game. Also, you're right about the structures being different between

Have you played this game? It's a fun game, and definitely worth getting if you already have a PS4, but it is in NO way, nor could it ever be without a complete reworking of the engine and mechanics, which they aren't doing, worth buying a PS4 for. That's why not.

Honestly, if this were really all about releasing it to a wide audience, they'd have brought it to the PS3/360, since those user bases are higher than PS4/Xb1. And they'd have to do less work updating the graphics as well.

That's part of the problem though. The game really isn't good enough to be a system seller for PS4 or XB1, and while it's a fun game, everything about it screams "portable game." They can remaster the graphics and tweak the controls, but unless they completely change the mission/level design, it's still just going to

I would buy this on PS4 if I already had a PS4. But having played some of the PSP version, I can honestly say this game is not worth buying a PS4 for. I will be getting a PS4 anyway in the future, but THIS is not the game that's going to make me rush out and buy one.

It's an Action RPG. Not turn based at all. It's a very fun game, however, it's VERY obviously a portable game.

I'd argue that it doesn't make much sense to bring a PSP game to PS4/Xb1 when the PS3 would be a more sensible option if they didn't want to bring it to Vita. Larger install base on current consoles compared to next gen ones, and they'd have less work to do in terms of updating the graphics.

It was definitely never promised for PSP. However, before the Vita even went on sale there were reports that the game had already been translated, therefore most people figured "hey, the PSP is on its way out in the US, the Vita's coming soon and PS4 is still several years away, maybe they'll release it on PSN as a

If I had a PS4, I would consider getting this game for it. But having played the demo, and a part of the game in Japanese on a friend's PSP when I was visiting them in Tokyo, I can honestly say that for me, this game is NOT worth buying a PS4 or an Xb1 for. So much about the game screams portable title. But it was

Honestly the way you've acted in the comments for this you really don't get to claim anyone else is acting like a child because frankly you're just as bad, possibly worse than anyone you've been criticizing.

This. A Thousand times this.

You're aware it's a PSP game that could have easily been put on PSN as a PSP classic, right?

Because for some reason you seem to think that every Vita owner has a PS4.

The last time I checked, the game was considerably more expensive than 40 dollars, in part because of the dual UMDs.

Well, they're remastering the graphics, so it will look better than it did when it first came out. I don't see why they couldn't put the remastered version out on PS4/XB1, and then released the PSP version in English over PSN for Vita, but whatever.

There's a paradox there. Games come out if a system sells. However, a system sells if games come out for it.
