Still a bit dodgy if you ask me. That’s still 10 hours for each big name hero like Darth Vader or Luke in a game franchise where this used to be free with the game at launch a couple generations ago.

The actual game devs often got into the profession not because that’s where the money was, but because of a love for games and a love for the craft. They aren’t businessmen, they’re lovers of games making what they love. It’s the publishers that lord over them that tend to make all the slimey decisions to add in…
Here’s the problem with that. If they’re prioritising “the sense of accomplishment” so much like they claim, why are they letting people pay to unlock it? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of feeling satisfied that you put in the effort and earned something when the game is literally telling you that you can pay to skip…
I defended this film way back when the whitewashing controversy began.
I hope they go on tour to a bunch of other servers, I can’t dress my best if I’m a new level 1 character. I’d love it if they came over here to Shiva Server one day.
I cannot get over the fact that the scarf was almost certainly intended for Winston. I like to imagine that Tracer had to give him the gift she intended for Emily and it being something horrible for him like a necklace or bracelet that simply won’t fit around his gigantic gorilla neck/wrist.
I’m okay with fanservice so long as it doesn’t interfere with a serious show. It’s fine to see it in an obviously fanservice show like Keijo or in a comedy like Space Dandy, but keep it out of more dramatic series. I still haven’t forgiven what happened with Blair from the Soul Eater adaptation, taking what began as…
Here’s my criticism. Yeah rape as a plot device is often used in a pretty trite manner, but it is ultimately a narrative tool like any other and can be used very well by actually competent writers. I understand being tired of its improper use, but banning it completely removes a potentially powerful narrative tool…
Now here’s the thing, I’ve got no problems with the aesthetic of women in this. Quite frankly, due to the overly-barbarian nature of the setting, that one playable woman is pretty much wearing more clothes than the typical barbarian male.
It’s telling that the only standout FF game in recent years was FF14 (post-relaunch,) the only recent FF game to not prioritise graphics over gameplay.
This game sounds bloody amazing, I need to buy it....
The Queen of the Castle, show some respect.
“Thanks Torbjoroedfvfdgb.”
*in the distance* “It’s Torbjorn!”
Which is good! It’s not as if they’re ripping anything off, so I’m all for the two taking influences from each other if it makes both end products better.
As a sub myself in real life, I love how this game gives a positive depiction of it all. The power dynamic really should flow both ways like this, it definitely is an active choice rather than being controlled or coerced, and it very much is important for you to be able to signal your discomfort to stop the whole…
Convent Anne is actually really cute....
I play a female Miqo’te (cat people) in FF14 which is of course something that a lot of horny strangers may look for, but I do a lot of RP and my Miqo’te is very much a proud knight, strangers who try to proposition me usually leave me alone after I begin challenging them to blood duels to satisfy my honour as a…
DA2's story felt a lot more intimate. That’s not to say the others weren’t good, Inquisition was badass and I loved it a lot. But DA2 had a far more humanised angle, you weren’t the chosen one destined to save the world from the Blight or Elder One, you were just a guy trying to make his/her way in life with their…
SOMEBODY ELSE WHO LOVED DA2!? I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!
