North Korea also calls itself “the Democratic People’s Reupublic of North Korea,” but I never seem to see anybody arguing that they’re democratic. Different story when China calls itself communist though, almost like people are biased.

I’m not surprised. I’ve had low expectations for this remake ever since I heard Tetsuya Nomura was directing it. The guy responsible for Emo Cloud and who ran FF15 into the ground should not be allowed to direct anything.

Oh god yeah, it’s grotesque. Tetsuya Nomura is a terrible person to leave in charge of FF7 content, he turns the angsty edge factor up so hard and I’m pretty sure he hasn’t actually played the game.

Final Fantasy IX is on the list.

I honestly wasn’t looking forward to this, I expected it to feel too jarring and immersion-shattering. But god damn, the dev team really made it fit in-universe and turned all the things I thought would be weaknesses into strengths. My hat’s off to you, Team FFXIV.

Considering how much work clearly goes into the designs of each raid zone, I LOVED that they did this.

I quite liked the original Catherine. Vincent was a fucking asshat, but I found the game to be quite quirky and enjoyable, and it fell into my belief that I don’t need to like the main character to like a story. It was a bit like morbid enjoyment. But I can fully get why a lot of people wouldn’t like a game like…

Never really been a fan of VII or VIII but you might have just fucking sold me on VIII. 

As well they should reclaim it. Three of the biggest members in my FFXIV guild, including the former-guildmaster who I rather respect, were women. Far as I’m concerned, sexism has no place in the online gaming space.

You shouldn’t have, as a Warhammer lore-lover myself, his lore videos often have inaccuracies in them.

Arch is a cunt and his lore videos are often wrong so he’s bad at that too.

As a diehard Warhammer Fantasy fan, this is pleasing to me.

Biggest problem I have with WoW is that I like story in my games, and WoW’s is... not good.

FF14 is currently experiencing what we’re calling the WoW Refugee Crisis. We’re getting a big influx of WoW players coming over to our side at the moment. I suppose we have Activision-Blizzard spooked.
