Forsen’s claim that “I can watch what I say; I cannot watch what my community does” is valid up to a point.

No entertainer can ever be held fully responsible for the actions of one or more members of their audience; people are strange, and they take material meant for entertainment as a foundational/guiding principle

The issue is Destiny doesn’t know what it wants to be. If they want to be a hardcore MMO, then they need to market it as such. Most MMOs don’t really allow you to play other games without being ‘left behind’. It’s pretty much an all or nothing with those. Destiny has some features that are very MMO-ish.

That is not doing it wrong, it is doing it for a different audience. We can’t always be the target demo just because we want to be, those responsibilities are decisions we made to take us out of it. There’s plenty of other games out there that don’t require that time commitment, or don’t require it to be strung

Except those hardcore players are right. It’s not their fault you have more responsibilities and can’t put as much time in. I would say I’m somewhere in between casual and hardcore and while I wanted the Outbreak Prime in D1, I didn’t get it until maybe a year ago but it felt great getting it even if it was way after

Cam: “Hey, can you please start enforcing the rules you’ve created?”
