It’s really more than what you meant to communicate matters less than what you did communicate.

The original Seiken Densetsu 3 from 1995 has been released in English for the first time, now available on the e-Shop, along the other two X of Mana.
Regarding his explanation...
I feel like if you want to do something like this, you have to come into it with a track record on these kinds of issues that is squeaky clean, else you have to make your point immediately clear even from a screenshot. Unfortunately CDPR has repeatedly got in trouble with their attempts to be edgy (in contexts where…
It’s beautiful. Someone please animate this in .gif format.

We can, but it’ll be -5 to your humanity point total because of the nano-injections.
fuuuuuuck inject this good-ass nuance directly into my veins
You’re right. But CD Projekt Red has been called out for some troubling stances on race and transmisogyny before. We can hope that this is some incisive and cutting cultural commentary, but asking these questions is valid given CDPR’s past mistakes. I like CDPR, and I want to love this game, and putting pressure on…
That really isn’t the point. Some people don’t want to play games full of bigotry. And people who are the targets of that bigotry don’t enjoy being told what they shouldn’t be offended or concerned by. Especially by people outside of the group in question. The game is based on a tabletop game that already has built-in…
I think it’s a ‘death by a thousand cuts’ thing. Combined with the blatant stereotypes folks previewing the game have called out and their history of anti-trans messaging (purposeful or not) folks assumed the worse.
I think it gets complicated by the company’s context of botching so much of social media and some of the rumblings from the show floor about how this latest demo was handling race. That’s a problem with the genre as a whole, but it doesn’t sound like 2077 is approaching that sort of thing with the greatest sense of…
Seiken Densetsu 3 officially released for the US yesterday?! Excuse me while I pick up my jaw off the ground...looks like my Switch is about to be super busy.
I loved the original Secret of Mana; played it many times. Then I played a fan translation of SD3. It’s just as fun and quite a bit bigger. You’ll love 3 if you liked SoM.
SD3 was one of the biggest games for me when I was super in to emulation. It had a great fan translation, and the game was just so damn good. I think I might have played that more than any other emulated game. I wasn’t even that big of a fan of SoM, but I just loved everything about SD3. Fun characters, good branching…
So I picked up the Mana collection yesterday, because I was a teenager in the 90s and the nostalgia was strong—but I’ll almost definitely be grabbing this, too. I never had the chance to play Seiken Densetsu 3 before yesterday, but I’m all about supporting Squeenix doing right by fans on all sides of the various ponds…
Or they can’t work out the physics when Zelda inevitably rides a horse into tress, over and over and over throughout the 200 hrs of gameplay(but mostly just horse riding badly)
well excuuuuuse me princess
