If you think most non-Marvel action movies (usually running 90-120 minutes) waste 30 minutes on a romance subplot, I’d like you to give me some recommendations, because that sounds much better than the action movies I’ve been watching. Many don’t even have enough time for the leads to kiss once, much less have a

I don’t remember: was it even about saving Asgard, or just getting revenge on Hela personally?

I hope you didn’t touch it; you might have contracted box office poison.

Mauser C96, actually.

I’ve tried a few times, but find it obtuse. How do you navigate those 4-5 thousand post threads?

Yeah, if this is the new normal, I guess I’m out. Nothing in the above review enticed me to check out this episode, and I honestly can’t remember if I watched the third episode back last Sunday or not.

I kind of like her, but the surge of negativity against her was due to the fact she would contribute articles to the site (including possibly a column?), and some felt that the A.V. Club would promote everything she did in frequent articles without a sufficiently prominent disclaimer. Back then, the commentariat was

I enjoyed Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom much more than I expected to, considering the reviews, and, you know, the first one. The only character I cared about survived! Woo-hoo!

No. The only acceptable option is to spend $25 million to add a CGI mustache to all his scenes this season in postproduction.

Ever since the last Throne Room Fight article here, where the commenters pointed out all the out-of-sync choreography, needless blocks and dodges, and digitally-erased weapons, I can’t take this scene seriously any more.

IIRC, Swift’s objection wasn’t to streaming as a whole, but with Spotify in particular and its “devaluation” of music by forcing her to offer her music on the free plan in order to stay with the service. She had no problem with her music being on Spotify’s subscription plan, or on other streaming services as a whole,

Hader at least had the excuse that he wasn’t shown the cue cards until they went live, and that the writers were trying to make him break once the character kept recurring.

As @Velocirapstar said, the studio’s share of that $350 million will not come close to covering the movie’s costs. All mainstream media outlets report this as the first Star Wars film to lose money; they just disagree on the amount.

No, TNG, DS9, VOY, and, for me, even ENT, all felt very much Trek from the beginning, and I watched them first-run, week-by-week. DIS/DSC/STD/DISCO doesn’t feel like Trek at all, not even terrible first-season Trek, but more like a mildly competent show set in an entirely unrelated sci-fi franchise.

While hanging out around the corner from the building’s loading dock all day technically counts as “at Pixar,” we were more thinking of someone who could actually consult on the films. And pass the drug test.

For his tears of joy?

“Thanks, Miles Morales! You’re twice the Spider-Man Peter Parker was!”

I wasn’t really sold on the show’s initial incarnation, but found the first two episodes after the reboot to be painfully unfunny (even the ending of the last one). Is this week even worth watching for me?

The position of the modifier makes it clear she’s not a well-known actress or person in general, but specifically known in the cosplayer community, as I imagine most professionals are.

Seeing as how she’s nearly 30 now, not 20 any more, that relationship seems entirely appropriate.
