Who the hell is still using HexChrome plating? I’ve worked in automotive for 15+ years. At the beginning of my career it was being phased out aggressively. I am pretty sure every OEM’s hazardous materials requirements ban it.

I looked at an iD4.  Hyundai, Kia, Ford and Telsa have it all over the iD4.

i think chevy may be better positioned for the ev arms race than ford.  this next year will spell it out clearer.

Guys, she’s still got it.

That’s a troubled bridge over water.

Actual manufacturing cost difference between the two is going to something like $200, $300 at the outside. Raise the price of the base versions by $500 and you’re in the green and actually making more money.”

the colorado hasn’t had a regular cab since ‘12 in ‘Merica

GM has abandoned hybrids in their push for going all-in on EV.

I’m going to go ahead and guess it’s because neither you, nor anyone else, actually went ahead and bought it.

The Z71 is the only one of these that doesn’t seem overwhelming offensive, but man is that a low bar to clear. I don’t hate the grill/headlights design itself, you just have to smooth out the rest of that thing, like the ‘15 redesign.

I like it. It’s different, modern and incredibly high end looking. It’s nice to see an American ultra luxury car again. It’s been a while.

Had to go deep into my meme archives:

Looks like the 2 on the seat are for entertainment and then the middle is for other controls like HVAC, heated/cooled seats, or the 4 section glass roof thing.

This is where my heads at. The Blazer nameplate for the last 30+ years has had more to do with family oriented SUVS than 2 door, “off road”, bro dozer trucks.  The S10 based Blazer and then Trail Blazer are what people remember.  Not the K5 or the 2 door “Blazer”/Tahoe.

In all honesty I had to warm up to the front when it was first shown. But seeing the whole thing from different angles I really like it. Something that I’ve read about it that I think is true of most all gm vehicles is it really looks amazing in person.

There’s a bondo and chickenwire version:

I saw one of these in person the other day (they were doing a sunset photo shoot) and its a lot bigger but also prettier in person than photos. The lighting actually looks classy as opposed to gaudy. Not necessarily sporty, not boring either. More imposing like how a Cadillac should be. Did I mention it was big?
