Even the 5th gen had ok back seat room. I think the lack of rear room in the 6th gen is one of the major reasons its not doing well. Especially when you consider how well the larger Challenger is still doing.

The Challenger is large with good cargo and interior room front and rear. Throw in a powerful engine and its good to go. The Camaro is too focused on track performance which most buyers really don’t care about. The back seat is also now useless (it was actually usable in the previous generation).

Problem is if you max out the 12k lbs tow rating that’s 1200 lbs of tongue weight. Literally nothing left for passengers or cargo.

That’s not even the lowest rating. The top trim 1794 crew cab long bed goes as low as 1270 lbs payload. That’s approaching sedan territory.

EV batteries are considered spent when they only hold about 80% of what they did when new. Teslas only lose about 10% of range after 200,000 miles. They will also still probably “run” like new.
