Oh well. Bring on the EV version. That might be my first EV.

Even the 5th gen had ok back seat room. I think the lack of rear room in the 6th gen is one of the major reasons its not doing well. Especially when you consider how well the larger Challenger is still doing.

The Challenger is large with good cargo and interior room front and rear. Throw in a powerful engine and its good to go. The Camaro is too focused on track performance which most buyers really don’t care about. The back seat is also now useless (it was actually usable in the previous generation).

Either VW or GM were my picks.

Several videos out there with the flat-plane crank engine.

Problem is if you max out the 12k lbs tow rating that’s 1200 lbs of tongue weight. Literally nothing left for passengers or cargo.

That’s not even the lowest rating. The top trim 1794 crew cab long bed goes as low as 1270 lbs payload. That’s approaching sedan territory.

Production version of VWs Space Vizzion concept sounds like what you’re looking for.

FYI its a manufacturing issue that cannot be detected unless you open (destroy) the battery, of there’s a fire.

I’ve been seriously considering this. With the negative press they will still probably be cheap after the battery is replaced.

Not sure about Lordstown, but Nikola is actually making good progress with their development and factory construction.

RJ Scaringe seems to be a pretty cool guy

If you haven’t used the buttons I can understand your opinion. But once you get used to them its probably one of the few if not only setups where you can control almost every HVAC setting without looking. Just feel for the toggles (fan speed in the middle and temp at the top or bottom), and every other control can be

EV batteries are considered spent when they only hold about 80% of what they did when new. Teslas only lose about 10% of range after 200,000 miles. They will also still probably “run” like new. (I’m sure the interior and body is a different story). Either way, EV “drivetrains” should last much longer than the average

Maybe even room for another

Sedans, hatchbacks, wagons.

The primary purpose of a truck is carrying a payload in the bed. That’s. It.
