Nick - Nice review. I didn’t read the full report, but I would think there is some exception to the “must graduate” rule. Perhaps an athlete who graduates early could receive pro-rated payment upon leaving school. Anything like this?

Great move for Boogie - very smart - especially since he wasn’t getting any offers from other teams for the reportedly $15m he wanted. He didn’t even get an offer from the Pelicans. So, not sure he was worth “considerably more” than what the Warriors are paying him. No one comes back from an achilles injury - just ask

OldBeigeGuy - I think the ball would have gone out, too. Short fence in right, which is actually on a hill that slopes down... so it’s really tough to predict the “trajectory,” as ThirceStaley put it. Balls tend to go out in right at this stadium, even when they don’t look it.

Hey Lauren - Is anyone going to write about what Steve Harvey said on ESPN last night, or is Deadspin just going let to that slide under the radar...? Seems like the EXACT type of story Deadspin would be ALL over, but for, well you know...

Wasabi Mayo. Life-changing condiment.

Tom,

The Sandlot is about a bunch of kids, albeit boys, having fun playing ball and growing up. Must you [insert political agenda here] with everything? This review is so thoughtless and lazy, it makes me actually want to know what Clay Travis thinks about the movie - pretty awful, Hannah.
