I read a report on an interview with HHH that made it sound like they have a fairly large number of people waiting in the wings who could come up to NXT if they lose people to the main roster. Given how the Ascension had to keep the tag division going all on their own for months, it definitely feels like the bottom

When I say "major" title defense, what I really mean is one where, narratively speaking, a title change is an actual possibility. They definitely weren't going to have him beat Neville on the special and then have him lose the belt less than a month later to the same guy on a weekly, so I don't consider that a real

I really like that NXT tends towards long title reigns, and Owens getting the belt off Zayn seems too abrupt to me. As far as I know no NXT title holder has ever lost the belt on their first major defense, so I don't think it's going to happen tonight either. Of course, I also didn't think the Dubstep Cowboys were

ArRival is also there, but it's hidden in the clip section for some reason. The benefit is that people can watch it even if they don't have Hulu Plus. And they should, because ArRival is amazing. http://www.hulu.com/watch/6…

Chikara's youtube channel is so incredibly awesome. I could watch this match forever: https://www.youtube.com/wat… Plus it features a luchadore with Sami Zayn's torso!

Brad Maddox's youtube series is pretty great, but it's incredibly sad that he has enough free time to make it.

The Baxter Building is actually located at the intersection of Know-Your-Role Boulevard and Jabroni Lane.

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO YOU THINK SHOULD PLAY NAMOR!

No, but Edge of Spider-Verse #2 was.

What did people read this last week?

Even though it's counter-intuitive, I think that Mass Effect became more enjoyable when I stopped worrying about rank, partially because it meant that I couldn't always get the best option. Having those blue/red choices felt really limiting in itself, since when one of those comes up you can be certain that taking it

That's definitely the example I thought this article would use, since it's a much more clear-cut example of the Paragon choice leading to a much worse (from a Paragon perspective) outcome.

I think the Renegade interrupts can also just mean "take action," where that might not be morally good or bad. MILD SPOILER There's an instance late in ME3 where you can't get out of taking a Renegade interrupt unless you have an absurdly high Paragon score. That one is literally just shooting someone before that

Moore's run on WildCATs was definitely pretty fun, even if it got kind of messy when the original team returned to Earth and started getting involved in crossover events. Since Joe Casey's WildCATs seems popular, I'll definitely start looking into what forms those are currently available in and think about picking up

I was using "Original Writer" in reference to Alan Moore there. I don't really plan on reading any WildCATs before that. I'd heard the basic premise and I've read Grant Morrison's JLA/WildCATs, so I didn't feel too lost when I read Alan Moore's WildCATs shortly after I made that comment.

I think Kieron Gillen got it figured out pretty well in his Tabula Rasa arc in Uncanny X-Men V.2. All the serious stuff involves characters without human faces, and it's full of Namor and Hepzibah being sexy at each other, where the pornface actually kinda works. It's obvious reading it that Kieron Gillen knew what

I've read Planetary, but I remember almost nothing about it, except the Vertigo story where Constantine turns into Spider Jerusalem and the awesomeness of Planetary/Batman. Not remembering it is probably a good reason to give it another read.

Yeah, it bugs me a bit that I'm going to have a comic with Greg Land cover art in my collection now. I read X-Men: Manifest Destiny, and it has my "favorite" example of Greg Land's art being hilariously inappropriate for a scene, so I get the impression that Fraction has no idea how to write for Land.

Fraction's X-men seems really controversial. I've even seen it on an all-time worst runs list. I'm actually getting the first Ultimate Collection volume of it so I can judge for myself, which should arrive any minute now. Did you get any sense of why people hate it so much? I'm interested in hearing the opinions of
