We can name several other female actors who have been dubbed “difficult to work with” and yet they still get movie roles. I don’t mean to limit it to just Berry vs. Sandra, but in general, she’s can’t be the most difficult woman to work with in Hollywood and therefore gets no starring roles.

I think Sandra’s has as much drama - her whole relationship with Jesse James and the women he was supposedly involved with. Maybe not as involved and reported on as Berry - which is another story - but she’s had some stuff. And yet...

I always compare her career to Sandra Bullock’s. They’re similar on so many levels - talent, age (Sandra’s a couple of years older), box office draw (Bullock’s draw is no bigger than Berry’s IMO, etc. - and yet Bullock still gets starring roles in films. I mean maybe this was Berry’s choice, but ... WTF?

Came here to see if anyone remembers this, was not disappointed.

So you’re saying Trish smokes a lot of weed...

It’s proximity to Sheridan Road notwithstanding, it was at best working class for a long time. Hell, I had an 11th floor apartment with a great view for less than $900 there. More well-to-do people moved in later and took advantage of cheap rent/housing costs, raising the median income, but further back, the majority

I lived in an apartment and, truth be told, had I remained in Chicago I might have bought there. Yeah, it was rough, more than a few bangers. But there were groups working to clean it up, even before the gentrification began. More than a few times I called and wrote the alderman about the guys hanging out in front of

Late response but...this. After living in Chicago for more than 45 years, I moved out of Chicago six years ago, but still get back to see family ever year. And yeah, I saw the transformation in Pilsen, Wicker Park, Logan Square and now my small neighborhood of Edgewater. Yes, it’s great they get new restaurants and

As a point of calibration, I wasn’t overwhelmed by that sketch either. It was mildly amusing, but we’ve seen it already. And the Donald Trump asides were definitely not funny. “Hope you’re not alergic to nuts because we got a big one here.” Huh? I’ve come up with funnier stuff than that, where’s my SNL writing gig?

Max Futurecast... I used to find that show interesting

Ah, I see. I still would have gotten that in writing before I even stepped up to the box. :)

I do to. I also think if I agree to go into work on those conditions, I’m expected to do my job. Is that hard for you to understand?

I’m hurt. ;(

Oh, definitly. I’ve known people who had to work deliver or other crappy jobs in conditions that frighten me just hearing about it. And the tips.. yeah, tip well regardless of conditions. Or neighborhood (I’ve heard plenty of stories of guys who do delivery in bad ‘hoods who get stuck up or worse.)

I agree on the tipping aspect, but that applies during any delivery: tip well. As for “risking life and limb”... why go out if and deliver it’s a matter of life, death or somewhere in between?

I agree. But is the boss going to keep paying a delivery person if there are no orders coming in? Even if the base salary is minimal (which I suspect it is), I doubt the boss wants to pay a guy for doing nothing. In some places snow cripples a city for weeks.

And I have to think that if there are enough show days where the restaurant is paying for you to just sit there - no matter how little the base pay is - and you’re not making deliveries, someone’s gonna get dropped or at least told to not to bother coming in for a week or two. And a week or two without a salary for a

So wait.. if the restaurant is open and making food, and you come into work as a delivery person instead of staying at home in bad weather conditions, we shouldn’t utilize that service that you seem willing to provide.?Look, I’ll tip way more, but telling someone “Don’t order food just because we’re open and I’m at

Along those lines, I remember Jordan was always the last guy to leave the lockerroom, answering every inane question like it was worth answering (“What’s your favorite color?” type shit). He did this whether he had a good game or a bad one (rare, I know, but still). But Pippen? He’d bolt before the reporters even got

Just to be clear, your relative did or didn’t know they were playing for TEN THOUSAND per hole, and not $10? I’d have shit my pants in fear even if I had won.
